Risks and restrictions
Read this before trading with real money. This is not investment advice and not an offer of securities.
What Credo is
Credo shows Polymarket and Kalshi event markets, Solana memecoins and major coins (BTC, ETH and others) and lets you trade them at the live prices of those venues and Binance. Orders are executed by Credo itself: they are not sent to the venues, and the money you trade with is held by Credo. Details are in the “Custody of funds” section.
Prices, trades and statistics come from the venues and public APIs with a delay and may be inaccurate.
Custody of funds
- USDT or USDC deposits arrive at your personal address, which belongs to a Credo wallet. Your balance is Credo’s record of how much it owes you, not money in your wallet.
- Orders are executed by Credo at the prices of Polymarket, Kalshi, Solana pools and Binance, with their fees and our spread. Credo is on the other side of your trade: Credo pays your winnings, and your losses stay with Credo.
- Payouts depend on Credo. If Credo cannot or will not pay, or if its account is hacked or blocked, you may lose everything on your balance. There is no deposit insurance.
- Withdrawals are processed manually and confirmed with a code from an email. The amount is set aside from your balance immediately and returned if the request is rejected. The network fee is deducted from the amount. Minimum $10, at most $5,000 per request and $10,000 per 24 hours.
- Send to your deposit address only the coin, and only on the network, selected in the wallet. Other tokens and networks will not be credited, and it may be impossible to get them back.
- Do not keep more on your balance than you are prepared to lose.
Event markets
- Each share is worth $1 or $0 at the end. If you buy an outcome at 70¢ and it does not happen, you lose your entire stake.
- The price is other people’s bets, not a probability calculated by experts.
- Venues charge taker fees; on Polymarket they depend on the category and are highest at prices around 50¢. We show the fee before you confirm a trade.
- The venue resolves the market. Wording can be disputed; Polymarket settles disputes through the UMA oracle, and the decision may differ from your understanding of the terms.
- In a thin order book, a large order fills at a worse price than the one shown. We limit slippage, but then the order may not fill.
- The venue resolves the market, and Credo pays out according to the venue’s decision.
Memecoins
- The price can fall by 90% or more within hours; most memecoins have no value other than demand.
- The creator may hold a large share and sell it all at once (a “rug pull”). Check the developer’s share and the top 10 holders on the token page.
- When a pool has little liquidity, buying moves the price against you, and selling a whole position may be impossible without a large loss.
- Tokens on the pump.fun curve (the Bonding tab) do not trade on the open market yet; some of them will never leave the curve.
- We do not vet tokens. Appearing in “Trending” reflects trading volume, not a recommendation.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
Top coins
- BTC, ETH and other major coins trade at Binance spot prices (USDT pairs); market caps, logos and descriptions come from CoinGecko. If Binance doesn’t respond or halts trading in a coin, the coin can’t be traded.
- Major coins are volatile too: BTC and ETH can lose 10–20% in a day, the others more.
- A buy fills at the sellers’ prices in Binance’s order book and a sell at the buyers’; a large order goes deeper into the book and gets a worse average price. The Credo fee is 0.25% of the amount.
- Coins you buy are an entry in your Credo balance and are not sent to your address. To withdraw money, sell them first.
Up or down rounds
- Over a minute or a quarter of an hour, prices move almost at random. This is a game of chance, not a way to earn: you can lose the whole stake.
- Winnings are paid by the losing side, not by Credo: winners share their stakes in proportion to their own, and Credo keeps 5% of that money. What you get is known only once bets close; the multiplier on screen is an estimate.
- The price to beat and the result are the open and close of the Binance candle (spot, USDT pair) for the round. On a tie, when one side is empty, or when Binance gives no candle within 10 minutes, bets are refunded.
- No more than $100 per person per round.
Copying and the leaderboard
Past profits do not guarantee future ones. Our study of Polymarket trades showed that the top earners over 30 days do not, on average, repeat their results over the next 30 days, and the edge of even consistent traders is about 1–3% of volume.
A copy gets in later and at a worse price than the original: the venue fee, the spread and the price move during the delay eat up a noticeable part of that edge. We show an estimate of the cost of copying in the trader’s profile. Set limits per trade and per day.
That is why the leaderboard is based on consistency across many markets, not on profit over a month. More: how the leaderboard works.
Bonuses and invites
- The $10 welcome bonus ($20 if you were invited) is given once your deposits reach $20. It doesn’t go straight to your balance: 50% of every fee you pay moves from the bonus to your balance as regular money you can withdraw. Whatever isn’t unlocked within 30 days expires.
- For each friend who joins with your link or enters your code, you get 20% of their fees, less the bonus they’ve unlocked — for 12 months after they sign up and up to $200 per friend. A friend counts once their deposits reach $20. Your share is credited once a day for fees older than 24 hours.
- One bonus per person. If it looks like a bonus is being collected without real trading (several accounts of one person, trading with yourself), Credo may stop the bonus and not count the invite.
- If it looks like the same person is on both sides of an invite (one device, network or wallet), earnings for that friend wait for a review.
- Credo may change the terms or pause the programme. Bonuses already given and friends already invited keep their own terms.
- To tell one person’s accounts apart, we keep irreversible fingerprints of the IP address and browser, not the addresses themselves.
Where trading is unavailable
We determine your country by IP. A deposit address is not issued in sanctioned jurisdictions (Crimea, Cuba, Donetsk Oblast, Iran, Luhansk Oblast, North Korea, Syria) or when the country cannot be determined. Using a VPN to get around restrictions violates Credo’s rules.
Local law may prohibit such bets: check for yourself.
